<h3 id="isPasted">What are ManiMe stick-on gels made of?</h3><p>Our stick-on gels are made of 100% Korean gel, similar to what you&apos;d get in a salon. The only difference is that our manis and pedis can be applied in minutes, removed in seconds, and do not cause harm to your nails or require UV-curing. Also, our gel is non-toxic (10-Free) and cruelty-free.</p><p><br></p><h3 id="isPasted">Will ManiMe cause harm to my overall health or my nails?</h3><p>In terms of your overall health. non-toxic ManiMe nail gels are one of the safest and healthiest manicure and pedicure options available.&#xA0;</p><p>In terms of your nail health, although there may be a bit of residue left on your nails after removal, we designed them to be as gentle as possible and the gels should not be damaging. <h3 id="isPasted">How long will ManiMe gels stay on my nails?</h3><p>Up to 10 days! Prolong the life of your gels by applying our top coat &#x2014; <a href="https://manime.co/products/max-top-coat-no-2?productId=4832837501037&amp;from=/essentials" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Max Top Coat No. 2</a>; and/or try our <a href="https://manime.co/products/miracle-bonding-base" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Miracle Bonding Base</a>!&#xA0;</p><p><br></p><h3 id="how-do-i-put-them-on">How do I put them on?</h3><p>It just takes 5 easy steps to apply your mani or pedi. Simply clean your nails, apply the gels, press and smooth, file off excess, &amp; seal with a top coat! Learn about our application process <a href="https://manime.co/pages/how-to-apply" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">here</a>.</p><p><br></p><h3 id="how-do-i-remove-them">How do I remove them?</h3><p>Simply peel them off whenever you&#x2019;re ready! For extra gentle removal, soak your hands or feet in warm water or apply lotion along the edges of the gels.</p><p>We suggest trying our <a href="https://manime.co/products/take-it-off-nail-cleanser" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Take It Off Nail Cleanser</a> &#x2014; just add a couple of drops to your cuticle and push off the gel with a cuticle stick. You can add as many drops as you need!</p><p>If you&apos;ve used a base coat underneath your gels, remove any remaining residue with nail polish remover.</p><p><br></p><h3 id="isPasted">I have trouble filing nails, or my nails are too short to file. Help!</h3><p>We recommend using nail clippers to trim any excess length. This can be easier than filing for those with shorter nails. Smooth the gels down with pressure before and after trimming.</p><p><br></p><h3 id="isPasted">How long does it take?</h3><p>Applying your mani or pedi only takes a couple of minutes. Check out our application How-To video and guide here. And great news - no dry time!</p><p><br></p><h3 id="isPasted">Do I need to go to the salon?</h3><p>Nope! No salon is needed. They can be applied anytime &amp; anywhere - at home, at work, on a flight - you decide.</p><p><br></p><h3 id="isPasted">I lost my prep pad or file. What else can I use?</h3><p>We recommend washing your hands with soap &amp; water (letting dry completely) or using a standard alcohol prep pad to clean your nails. We do not recommend using nail polish remover or any other chemicals before applying. For filing - a file you may have at home will work. Nail clippers are also a good tool to trim excess gel and maintain clean-cut edges.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
